Some Cornish Granite?

First week of the summer holidays, and believe it or not we had sun, sun and more sun. Just been enjoying this weather and ticking away. Bit of High Tor (best crag in the Peak?), the old classic that is Central Buttress down WCJ where we battled our way up some dirty/ historic routes and finally the stunning Bamford edge which for sure has my favourite views.

After a good first week I headed down to Cornwall with the family to sample some Granite, on the sea cliffs of West Penwith. My memories of Cornwall have unfortunately been in the form of rain, cold and sitting in St Ives miserable and eating ice cream. That certainly wasn’t the case this year and we had 2 weeks of almost perfect sunshine. I have to say I loved the Granite. Throw in the sea, and blue sky days and you have one of the best places to climb in the UK. Me and Ben managed to sample a small selection of what was on offer.
